Last week, I had the privilege of photographing one of my dearest friends, Snigdha Eleswarapu, during a golden hour portrait session at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas. This wasn’t just a typical content shoot—it was a full-circle moment.

I first took Snigdha’s senior portraits in high school, and now she’s thriving in college at the University of Indiana while also pursuing her passion for music. Watching her grow into her artistry and confidence has been such a gift. When she reached out about updating her Instagram and building content for her singing journey, I knew this session needed to reflect more than just a pretty background—it needed to show her light.

Snigdha arrived in a beautiful, flowing floral dress that showcased her beauty! As the sun set, the soft golden tones wrapped everything in warmth. We focused on capturing her in a way that felt natural, vibrant, and true to who she is today.

Even though I’ve photographed many sessions at Arbor Hills, this one felt fresh. I explored new angles, played with lens flares, and used the changing light to experiment with depth and texture. Snigdha was incredibly patient and open to trying new poses and lighting techniques—something I truly appreciate as a photographer.

What made this session so special wasn’t just the location or the lighting—it was the intention. We weren’t just taking photos; we were documenting a season of growth, purpose, and transition. That’s the heart behind every portrait session I offer—telling your story through light, emotion, and honest connection.
